    ROBBERY OUTSIDE BANK

    BRITS POS - BRITS - Four people were robbed outside a bank in Brits, Wednesday morning. According to Lt.Col Adel Myburgh, NW police spokesperson, the victims went to draw cash inside a bank in Brits and whilst walking to their vehicle, parked in the parking area close to the bank, three suspects allegedly confronted the victims and grabbed one of the bag’s containing money. The suspect fled with the bag, whilst another suspect shot one bullet at the victims. No injuries were sustained. SBV security officials were close by and assisted the victims by alerting the police. The police apprehended a 25-year-old suspect, the robbed money bag as well as a toy gun. All the stolen cash were recovered. The suspect will appear in the Brits Magistrates’ Court soon on charges of armed robbery. Two suspects fled and more arrests are expected.
