Implats, NUM sign two-year wage deal

BRITS POS - BRITS - The National Union of Mineworkers (NUM) and Impala Platinum Implats have reached a two-year wage deal, effective July 2016 until June 2018, for workers at Implats’ refinery operation, in Springs.

RBPlat, Implats extend royalty agreement

BRITS POS - BRITS - Royal Bafokeng Platinum (RBPlat) and Impala Platinum (Implats) have agreed to expand the mining area covered by the parties’ 6 and 8 shafts royalty (2010) agreement, adding about 360 000 oz of platinum, palladium, rhodium and gold (4E) to Implats’ resource.
