The Rustenburg of tomorrow, imagined today. The Rustenburg Herald recently reviewed the Integrated Master Plan (IMP) for Rustenburg 2040, a new renovation of the Rustenburg region, as has been set forth by international urbanisation consulting firm Surbana International. The plan, which is expected to be completed by 2040, could see the one-of-a-kind Rustenburg CBD (pictured here) which will include businesses as well as hotels and maybe even a casino. Other developments include a Medical Teaching Hospital, an Education Hub – complete with a university – and a Green Technology Centre.
