Nathan Sinclair from Rustenburg took part in the Gauteng regional offroad championships held in Bronkhorstspruit the past weekend. Young Nathan, a grade three learner of Protea Park, claimed second position in the competition.

Andries won gold

The South African National Championships is the blue ribbon event for each cycling discipline and held each year. For 2019, the SA Road National Championships was held for the Elite, U/23, Masters and Para-cycling categories that took place from 9 – 10 February 2019 in the city of Tshwane. Andries Scheepers from RCC (Rustenburg Cycling Club) won gold in the Time Trail and Road Race in the category Para men. Well done Andries, RCC is very proud of your achievement.

RHS se Interhuis Atletiek - 10 rekords spat

RUSTENBURG HERALD - RUSTENBURG - Die atlete van die Hoërskool Rustenburg het rye gestaan om aan die jaarlikse interhuis atletiekbyeenkoms deel te neem. Bont geklee gee elke atleet sy/haar beste. ‘n Merkwaarde 10 rekords spat. ‘n Selfs meer merkwaardige gebeurtenis is dat drie van die rekords wat gebreek is onderskeidelik in 1984, 1991 en in 2000 opgestel was.
