BONUS- RUSTENBURG - Life Peglerae HospitaL - one of 63 Life Healthcare Group acute hospital facilities in South Africa, will soon be able to provide its staff and visitors with safe, enclosed, access controlled under-cover parking after an agreement was reached to purchase a piece of empty land adjacent to the hospital on the corner of Kock Street and Nelson Mandela Drive. Sub-dividing and transfer of the deed has been finalised and Hospital manager Eugene Ferreira says that building of the car park has commenced on 28 August 2015 and will be completed by the end of October 2015.
“We are very excited to get the building started so that we can provide our staff and visitors with adequate safe parking, particularly at night time, where the new enclosed parking area will be well lit and offer a much safer place to arrive and leave the hospital from, “ says Eugene Ferreira.
The piece of land has been vacant for some time and was previously earmarked for a shopping complex, however when the development failed, the work was stopped and the area has been an eyesore to the greater community ever since.
“The Life Healthcare Group’s goal is to continue providing high-quality, cost-effective healthcare in Southern Africa and the Life Peglerae new parking project is aligned to achieving the goals of growing the capacity of existing facilities within the Group”, Ferreira concluded.
