Klerksdorp Rekord, Klerksdorp Glühwein, Bratwurst en ‘n ski-vakansie het gesorg dat vyf leerlinge van Klerksdorp op ‘n unieke manier verlede jaar kon Kersfees vier. Dié leerlinge van Hoërskool Wesvalia het in Desember Duitsland en omliggende gebiede besoek waar hulle deel was van die Klerksdorp Rotariërs se jaarlikse uitruilprogram vir hoërskoolleerlinge.

Die Federasie van Beheerliggame van Suid-Afrikaanse Skole is gefokus op ontwikkeling en opleiding binne skole om effektiewe en kundige beheerliggame te ontwikkel en te bou.

    • Roosheuwel Primary School welcomed new staff this year. They are Willemien Pretorius (Grd1), Cindy Mulder (Grd 2), Annika van der Schyff  (Grd 2), Mart-Sophie Botha (Grd 5), Monique Geels (Grd 4), HOD English and Afrikaans Senior Phase Daleen Bornman and in front Rethabile Rampuru (Grd R).

      • Angel Geel (u/12), Otlotleng Tshabadira (u/13) and Tlotliso Mokhele (u/12) of KPS participated in the NW Athletics Championships last week in Potch. Geel ended third in the 1200 m, Tshabadira ended second in the 200 m and Mokhele ended second in the 100m.

      • The following learners from Klerksdorp Primary School (KPS) were identified as the best achievers in their respective grades: Grade 5 - Peyton Govender with 91.3%, Grade 7 Asish Mathew with 90.7%, , Grade 6 Kgaogelo Maake with 89.8% and Grade 4 - Kaylah Vers with an average of 91.7%.
