Klerksdorp Record, Klerksdorp - The countdown has begun! Next month, between May 18 and 24, South Africa will make motorsport history as it hosts the South African Safari Rally - Round 3 of the prestigious World Rally-Raid Championship (W2RC) for the first time ever.
The inaugural event, presented by event partner, Toyota Gazoo Racing, is no ordinary event. It’s a global spotlight moment - and South Africa is ready to shine. “This is definitely a defining moment for motorsport in South Africa,” says Vic Maharaj, CEO of Motorsport South Africa.
Future lifesavers
The following swimmers from Klerksdorp are participating for Tuks at the Lifesaving National competition in Port Elizabeth between April 28 and May 3. They are Marnitz van der Berg, AJ Brits (middle) Amelie Lotter, Juann Brits, Ethan van der Westhuizen, coach Ciska Bobbert and (front) Kayden Mulder, Christoff Botha, Mikah du Toit, Francois Fick, Theodore Mulder and Henro Smit.
Klerksdorp Rugby back with a bang
Klerksdorp Record, Klerksdorp - Klerksdorp Zambezi Rugby is geared for the new season.
They invite spectators to join them at their first home game on Saturday May 10. Klerksdorp will play Northern Wolverines on this day. Join them for a day filled with good rugby and lots to do.

Klerksdorp Rekord, Orkney - Die NW Duathlon kampioenskap is op Saterdag 12 April in Orkney gehou.
Duathlon is ‘n driebeen hardloop-siklus-hardloop-uithouvermoë-byeenkoms, met verskillende afstande vir verskillende ouderdomsgroepkategorieë.
Verskeie atlete van Klerksdorp het hul weg na die podium in die verskillende kategorieë gevind.
