Tough on pensioners to get meds

Dennis Cochius, via email - A fellow resident at the old age facility in Randlespark who is 63 years old went to Tshepong Hospital last Tuesday (12 January) to see a doctor and to get her medication.

She got a taxi at 6.30 to Klerksdorp Hospital and got the shuttle bus to Tshepong. It was chaotic at the hospital and by 17:30 when the chemist closed she had still not got her medication!

She had to return the next day. This is how we who helped build this country are treated.

She left again at 6:30 and only got back at 14:30. It took her 17 hours to get her meds. That’s just great hey?
