Lentswe, Kanana - The Phodiso Worship Centre family convened at Mokati Hall last weekend to pay their last respects to one of their own, Bishop OP Makoro, who passed away on April 29. The funeral was held on Saturday May 10 and the hall was packed with family, friends and loved ones, who wished to see Bishop Makoro off. Some of the attendees were the Executive Mayor, Cllr Fikile Mahlophe, along with local councillors, Rhyder Mokhele, Molefi Sello, Thabo Seabeng, Queen Mahumapelo and the Kanana Council of Churches (KCC) fraternal.
With Apostle TD Mofokeng reading from the book of Ecclesiastes 3:1, reminding them that there is a time, and a season for everything, he further affirmed that Bishop Makoro’s passing was in God’s plan because if it wasn’t then he would still be here with us today.
They thanked each and every person who took time to celebrate with them the life they shared with Bishop Makoro, wishing his family at home and at church healing that only God can provide with words from the book of Revelation 21:4: “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”
