Chiefs still top league log

Lentswe, Khuma - On Saturday 29 February all eyes will be looking for action from the Soweto giants, PSL log leader Kaizer Chiefs up against its rivals Orlando Pirates at FNB Stadium, Johannesburg for the Soweto derby at 15:30.

Amakhosi coach Ernst Middendorp who is still under pressure after losing from Highlands Park at the Nedbank Cup will face Amabhakabhaka’s mentor Josef Zinnbauer whose record is still clean at the team.

Fanatic football lovers together with some soccer legends said this derby is not a German affair although both coaches are from that country. And a warning to ‘The Ghost’ is that the recent loss of ‘The Glamour Boys’ cannot be an advantage to them, because the underdogs are usually capable to cause magic and pains to them during derby.

The Soweto derby is always believed to bring miracles.

A Chiefs win will boost them more to lead on the log, but a Pirates win will put more pressure for Mamelodi Sundowns who is closing in on them. Tickets are already sold out.
