A shift has caused a high demand for rental property. There was never a balance really, but the space between the demand and supply has definitely widened. The landlords of residential flats and apartments have awakened to a gap in student accommodation. They have decided to let go of tenants some of whom have been housed for many years in exchange for students. Landlords are attracted by the fact that when it comes to students, one can charge per bed or per room. The rental received would be higher than placing a family.

The total value of investment commitments made this year has vastly exceeded our expectations.

Business developers maintain that litter impacts a company’s decision to locate in a community. Consequently, the whole community is affected when potential jobs are lost in the area.
The sight of Springbok captain Siyamthanda Kolisi lifting the cup at the Yokohama Stadium on Saturday filled me with great pride. I could see the undisguised emotion on the face of his father, Fezakele Raymond Kolisi watching from the stands. There was his son, the first black captain of the Springboks, making history.
