It was announced recently by North-West Provincial SAPS that North West tops the list of crime statistics. Out of 31 wards of Mahikeng Local Municipality, ward 7 has been identified as the number one in crime, according to the SAPS. However, it is not important to object to these crime statistics than to identify the cause that increased crime in ward 7 and somewhere else in North-West Province.
