Learners commit to become water ambassadors

MAHIKENG MAIL-RUSTENBURG: Learners from four district municipalities across the North West Province committed to become water ambassadors at their various schools and communities and assist in preaching the gospel of water conservation. It was a pledge that was made during the recent Provincial Baswa le Meetse and Public speaking competitions held in Rustenburg White hall on June 9 and 10 respectively.

Youth Max touches lives

Mahikeng Mail-Mahikeng- The John Maxwell Team Global Youth Initiative (Youth Max) has reached the young people of Mafikeng. Dion Blignaut, representative of the Youth Max programme, recently visited several schools around town, impacting over 2800 youth.“My mission is to inspire young people by sharing the story of Nick Vujiicic, a man who was born without arms or legs. Despite his disability, he goes around the world to motivate millions. As part of a global youth initiative, it is my aim to make a difference in this town,” said motivational speaker, Dion Blignaut.
