Sol Plaatje Primary school learners to visit Italy

The 25 top achievers in Mathematics and Science of Sol Plaatje Primary School have been selected to undertake  a trip to Milan,  Italy with their three teachers for a Cultural Students Exchange programme on November 29. The trip is set to educate and give awareness on academic multifaceted approaches for learners and also enhance their interest in global issues.

Principal, P Nchoe of Mosiami Mildred Mogapi Primary School in Extension 39 produced Dux learners for 2017 from Grade 1 to 7. Learners were Grade 1, Sothomela Kealeboga; Grade 2, Wessie Goitseone; Grade 3, Nkemisang Lesego; Grade 4, Mothupi Lealeboga; Grade 5, Matsheka Oratile; Grade 6, Seleka Keotshepile; Grade 7, Motlhaping Karabo together with Intermediate and Senior phase HoD, K. Leeuw and Foundation phase HoD P.Nkukane.

Botho shines in year-end exams

Rustenburg Educational College recently held its Honours Day Ceremony. Monde Kakula was proud of her daughter, Botho Kakula who stole the show as she was ordained as the Best Achiever of the Year in Grade 7.

NW educator to teach in China

MAHIKENG MAIL-MAHIKENG: Stadt Primary School educator, Tumisang Harold Mokgothu recently received a scholarship programme in Jinan, China to teach English to Chinese students. He will receive Mandarin lessons to familiarize himself with Chinese languages for communication purposes.
