More maize seeds to be planted over 900 hectors

AFASA and NERPO secretary Wisdom Matsheka received donations of maize seeds from Pannar to plough over 900 hectors of land last week Friday at Imperial Reserve in Mahikeng. Matsheka sends his gratitude to Botho Pule and Hendric Mokoto for the donation they made to their associations and said “to us this was a precious gift which will go a long way through bringing more employment opportunities and food production in the North West and we sincerely thank those who contributed towards assisting us with these  seeds”.

National Christian Mission celebrates youth day

The National Christian Mission celebrated youth day on June 17 with activities of gospel music, poetry, sketches and beauty pageant. The kings and Queens of the beauty pageant were pictured with Rev. S. M Kgomo; Rev. O. M Meloreng , Bishop O.W Motsamai and Brother K. D Motsamai who made it possible for the youth to participate in various activities that will enable them to reveal their talents.

CATA opens more libraries in JB Marks communities

MAHIKENG MAIL – VENTERSDORP: The North West Department of Culture, Arts and Traditional Affairs (Cata) will open a newly-constructed community library on today (Thursday) in Tshing, Ventersdorp.

Red Cross youth continues to save lives

The Red Cross youth on May 31 held activities on health education, HIV/AIDS, and condom demonstration including their distribution, of blankets and clothes to 50 vulnerable families gathered at Fountain of Hope Church at Top village. The event was attended by the area Councillor Dlamini, youth and elderly people from Top village.
