The renaming of Dimakatso

MAHIKENG MAIL-MAHIKENG: Hundreds of  well-wishers who included families, relatives,  friends, neighbours, colleagues and aquaintences on Saturday witnessed the renaming of  Dimakatso Senne whose name was changed to    Mmasechaba Macheoane.

This after she exchanged matrimonial vows with Kagiso Macheoane at a colourful wedding ceremony at the local Church. Her re-naming  was in accordance  with  Sesotho tradition symbolising “Mother of the Nation”.
The colourful wedding reception was held at the popular Maseru Wedding centre in Bokone Village near Mafikeng town where the well dressed crowd showed-off a sea of colourful attire.
The two-day ceremony ended on Sunday at the groom’s home in Majemantsho Village only a few blocks from Masechaba’s home in the same village.
