Crime Prevention Ministerial Imbizo, Mahikeng

MAHIKENG MAIL-MAHIKENG: The Minister of Police, General Bheki Cele, together with the newly appointed National Commissioner, - General Sehlahle Fannie Masemola and SAPS Top Management returned to Mahikeng over the weekend to host the Crime Prevention Ministerial Imbizo.

The Imbizo followed the Presidential Imbizo which was led by President Cyril Ramaphosa in Mahikeng three weeks ago where Mahikeng residents raised concerns about how Mafikeng was infested with drugs.
The Minister engaged with residents of Lonely Park village at their local Sports Ground and proceeded to Barolong Boo- Ratshidi Community Hall to further engage the broader Mahikeng community and offered them a platform to directly engage them on crime related challenges in Mahikeng.
Minister Cele, who was accompanied by the National Police Commissioner - General Sehlahle Fannie Masemola,  North West MEC for Community Safety, Sello Lehari,  Executive Mayor of Mahikeng Local Municipality, Tshepiso Mphehlo and Executive Mayor of Ngaka Modiri Molema District Municipality, Khumalo Molefe.
