MEC Matsemela outlines priorities for the education sector

MAFIKENG MAIL – MAHIKENG: Education unions led by the South African Democratic Teachers Union (SADTU)  in the North West has welcomed Education MEC,  Mmaphefo Matsemela’s assurance that her administration would prioritise the absorption of temporary teachers as part of securing an effective teacher  employment  programme in the province.

Controversial Bosasa centre in Mafikeng left to rot

MAHIKENG MAIL-MAHIKENG: The demise of the controversial BOSASA  continued last week when former employees attached to the Mahikeng based Youth Development Centre under the former BOSASA complained that they had been left jobless after the centre failed to relocate the staff from BOSASA to the department of Social Development.

Parents win first round of ongoing battle against ISSA
