MEC Motlhabane tackles illegal hiking spots and illegal taxi operations

MAHIKENG MAIL-MAHIKENG: The MEC for the Department of Community Safety and Transport Management Dr Mpho Motlhabane together with the law enforcement officers woke up on the break of dawn  recently  to tackle this phenomenon of illegal hiking spots and illegal taxi’s operation head-on on the N12 Wolmaranstad, along R504 Ottosdal, R503 Lichtenburg and N18 Mahikeng.

EPWP and CWP awarded certificates

MAHIKENG MAIL-MAHIKENG: The Deputy Minister of Public Works Jeremy Cronin last Friday awarded certificates to 148 students of Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP) and Community Work Programme (CWP) in the North West on environmental practices and NQF level 2 certificates at Mafikeng Embassy respectively.

NW Premier’s election iced

The Democratic Alliance (DA) said yesterday that they were not surprised that the election of the North West Premier had been postponed until further notice.
This follows the cancellation of a special sitting that was convened for (tomorrow) Friday 8 June 2018 for the sole purpose of filling the vacancy of a Premier.
