Reservoir levels low, water restrictions implemented

Mahikeng Mail-Mahikeng- Sedibeng Water has introduced water restrictions in Mahikeng from 07 January 2016 between 22h00 and 04h00 in the morning in a bid to increase reservoir levels and at the same time afford the community reasonable access to water services.

SANCO calls for better care of traffic officers

MAHIKENG MAIL – MAHIKENG –The South African National Civic Organisation (SANCO) in the North West on Monday called for a review and alignment of traffic officers rank structure, promotion and remuneration system to be at par with those of their South African Police Service counterparts.

Marikana finally gets houses

MAHIKENG MAIL – Marikana- National Department of Human Settlements, together with the Department of Local Government and Human Settlements in North West in partnership with Rustenburg local municipality has embarked on an intense and vigorous process to verify the beneficiary lists of the 292 Breaking New Ground housing units as part of the 1st phase of Marikana housing project.
