DA: Supra must pay back the money

MAHIKENG MAIL – MAHIKENG: The Democratic Alliance in the North West said on Monday that the welcomed the decision to investigate those responsible for awarding a R1 million bursary to the son of the former Premier, Supra Mahumapelo, as well as the allocation of a tender to his brother.

MAHIKENG MAIL – MAHIKENG: SANCO in the North West has again slammed the Mahikeng Local Municipality in what the civic organisation dubbed “a sad state of affairs in which Mahikeng local Municipality is embroiled in multifaceted crises ranging from gross financial misconduct, corruption and shocking acts of maladministration”.

MEC Motlhabane tackles illegal hiking spots and illegal taxi operations

MAHIKENG MAIL-MAHIKENG: The MEC for the Department of Community Safety and Transport Management Dr Mpho Motlhabane together with the law enforcement officers woke up on the break of dawn  recently  to tackle this phenomenon of illegal hiking spots and illegal taxi’s operation head-on on the N12 Wolmaranstad, along R504 Ottosdal, R503 Lichtenburg and N18 Mahikeng.

EPWP and CWP awarded certificates

MAHIKENG MAIL-MAHIKENG: The Deputy Minister of Public Works Jeremy Cronin last Friday awarded certificates to 148 students of Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP) and Community Work Programme (CWP) in the North West on environmental practices and NQF level 2 certificates at Mafikeng Embassy respectively.
