North West University does it again

MAHIKENG MAIL-MAHIKENG: North West University Mafikeng Karate Team of 18 karatekas did it again after coming back victorious from the Northern Cape Martial Arts Challenge. The Team attended the National event, the National Super Karate League in Pretoria West Portuguese Hall on May 13.

Flames beat defending champions

MAHIKENG MAIL-CAPE TOWN: The North West Flames became the fourth team to inflict pain to the Brutal Fruit Netball Premier League defending champions on May 20. The Free State Crinums, beat them 54 -40 in the final match of the evening. Coming into this match, both teams were hoping for a win to better their chances prior to the last round of matches and the players put everything they had into the match.

NWU Karatekas win their first tournament

Mahikeng Mail- Kathu: The NWU karate team of 14 and a 3rd Dan Black Belt coach, Kamogelo ‘Percy’ Mokgathi participated in the Northern Cape Martial Arts Challenge tournament that took place from May 5- 6, at Kathu in Northern Cape.
