Local artist Bonnie Jackson was the spearhead behind the fundraiser and with the support of friends and family she presented a stylish music event on November 6 at Via Piano restaurant with over 150 guests attending.
Everything was arranged for Kyla de Kock who was diagnosed in August with the dreaded disease. Her medical aid is depleted and she urgently needs treatment or there would be little hope for her survival.
Supporting artists at the event were Rinaldo Kritzinger and Almur Marais and Bonnie Jackson surprised the crowd with the release of her new album. Fine-artists Robert Thirtle and Tertius Strydom who both had artworks on display, also participated in an auction for Kyla’s fund.
Bonnie Jackson, her team and Kyla thank everyone who made a contribution.
