PUK 16 finaal-aksie

Stellalander - Vryburg - Vryburg Hoërskool se Tweedes het die afgelope naweek as oorwinnaars van die veld af gestap nadat hul in hul Puk 16-wedstryd gelykop teen die span van die Hoërskool Pretoria-Noord gespeel het. Omdat Vryburg egter eerste punte aangeteken het, word hul as wenners aangewys.

HOËRSKOOL VRYBURG ONNIE WOON KONGRES IN VSA BY

Stellalander - Vryburg - Gedurende die Aprilvakansie het Charlotte van Heerden, wiskunde-onderwyser van die Hoërskool Vryburg, die buitengewone geleentheid gehad om die jaarlikse nasionale konferensie van die VSA se “National Council for Teachers of Mathematics” (NCTM) te kon bywoon. Dié konferensie het vanaf 5-8 April in San Antonio, Texas plaasgevind. Charlotte was deel van ‘n afvaardiging van vyf wiskundeonderwysers wat na die konferensie gestuur is deur die Vereniging van Afrikaanse Wiskunde-onderwysers (VAW),  ‘n inisiatief van Solidariteit Helpende Hand.

Mayor donates sports equipment

Stellalander -Tosca – The Mayor of Kagisano-Molopo, Councillor Bitsa Lenkopane,  donated sports equipment to eight football teams across the Municipality. The Mayor handed over eight sets of soccer kits and footballs to teams that participated in the Youth Development Sports Tournament held in Tosca sports ground in ward 2 of the Kagisano-Molopo Local Municipality, over the Easter weekend.

Looking for School Sleepout Ambassadors

Stellalander-Vryburg - The School SleepOut is a national Call to Action, where school learners and teachers spend a night outdoors, at their school grounds, to gain empathy for the homeless, and collect items for vulnerable communities. They are looking for 18 young South Africans in Grade ten to Grade twelve to apply to be School SleepOut ambassadors.

Danone U12 Nations Cup

Stellalander-Mahikeng - 2016 Danone Nations Cup provincial champions and national number two, BM Mokitime Primary School, was again on a winning streak at the Montshiwa Stadium here. They made their intensions clear with reclaiming the 2016 District Championship on Friday (31 March).
