GEPF pensioners to receive increase in benefits

Stellalander-Vryburg - The Government Employees Pension Fund (GEPF) is proud to announce that for the financial year ending 31 March, the Board of Trustees has granted a 5, 3% increase to monthly pensions with effect from 1 April 2016. This reaffirms the Board’s commitment to endeavour to grant increases to keep pace with inflation.

Stellalander - Vryburg - Een van Suid-Afrika se belowende opkomende junior motorfietsryers is die afgelope naweek hier tydens die SA Cross Country (SACC) veldwedren noodlottig beseer. Ghislain van der Merwe, wat oor net bietjie meer as 'n maand sy sestiende verjaarsdag sou vier, het Maandagmiddag (4 April) die geveg om sy lewe in 'n Johannesburge hospitaal verloor.

REMINDER -renew Firearm Licences

Stellalander-Vryburg - Firearm owners are hereby reminded to renew their licences in accordance with the provisions of the Firearms Control Act, 2000 (Act 60 2000).
Firearm owners are reminded to renew their firearm licences at the offices of Designated Firearm Officers at their local police stations.
