Seven nabbed for serious crimes

BRITS POS – BRITS – During an intelligence driven operation by the Brits Cluster Crime Intelligence, Trio Crimes Task Team and the Operational Crime Combatting Unit (OCCU) seven suspects were nabbed for their alleged involvement in a series of serious crimes that were committed around Makapanstad, Klipgat and Cyferskuil.

Two suspects arrested for rhino horn trafficking

BRITS POS – BRITS - Petrus Stephanus Steyn (60) from Modderfontein in Gauteng and Clive John Melville (57), who hails, according to the charge sheet, from a nature reserve in Uitenhage, in the Eastern Cape, were caught red-handed with at least 167 rhino horns in their possession in the Skeerpoort area on Saturday, 13 April 2019.

Most wanted murder and robbery suspect arrested

BRITS POS – BRITS – The Brits Trio Crimes task team, Hartbeespoortdam Crime Prevention Unit as well as Brits OCCU worked vigilantly and tirelessly to apprehend one of the most wanted suspects, Peter Makhubele (30),  who allegedly committed a series of robberies and a murder in Hebron from February to March 2019.
