Bogus cops carjack motorist on N4

BRITS POS – BRITS - A motorist (49) was travelling in a white Toyota Hilux bakkie on the N4 Bakwena Highway towards Brits on Wednesday, 21 April 2021 at 12:00. As he passed Bapong village he noticed that police members with a Toyota Quantum bus were stationed at a roadblock under a bridge. A male officer in police uniform showed him to pull over and he stopped.

South Africa’s best athletes set sights on Olympics

BRITS POS - BRITS - The Tokyo Olympics are less than 100 days away.The worldwide Covid pandemic caused the games to be postponed for a year and for athletes across the globe, the impact of lockdowns on their preparation has been devastating.
It is also true for the cream of the crop of South African athletes. A week on from Swimming South Africa holding its national championships behind closed doors, Athletics South Africa followed suit in Tshwane this weekend.
