Tourism consultative session held in Rustenburg

BONUS - RUSTENBURG- The first of its kind Tourism Consultative Session got underway at the Rustenburg Civic Centre on Thursday (8 August).

The purpose of the session was to initiate collaborative relationships with tourism product owners, Small Medium and Micro enterprises who contribute to the tourism sector and develop implementable and measurable goals aimed at changing the Tourism sector in Rustenburg. The North West Tourism Board officials, Brand South Africa, Tourism Grading Council of South Africa and Indigenous Knowledge System activist Dr Kenalemang Kgoroeadira also known as Mama Kena were among the officials present at the session. In his welcome address, the Executive Mayor of the Rustenburg Local Municipality, Mpho Khunou said it was time to join hands and work towards a common goal that will bring about a comprehensive plan which will market Rustenburg and all its product offerings.
