A man who attempted to steal a cellphone in the Sanlampark office building last week, crouches against the blows of an angry man who wanted to discipline him when he was caught in the act and chased out of the building. The alleged thief who said he is thirty years old admitted to taking the phone from a desk on the first floor of the building. He told Klerksdorp Record he was hungry and wanted to sell the phone for money. He said he will never do it again. The police were called to the scene but the victim of the theft decided not to lay a charge when the Constables wanted to take her phone and book it as evidence of the crime. The man was subsequently released.
