MEC Moiloa hailed as a life saver

MAFIKENG MAIL – MAHIKENG: The Principal of Ntlatseng combined school at Rulaganyang township out Wolmaranstad, Lerato Kola on Monday said the donation of sanitary towels to her school was a great relief that came at the right time when the parents could not afford to buy sanitary towels to more than 200 young girls.

Inaugurated Wessel Guilds

The Wessel Churches in Mafikeng hosted an inauguration for the youth of the Church at Miga, Ramatlabama last Sunday to become the Wessel Guilds. The youth were wished good luck in their inauguration and encouraged to become great leaders of tomorrow.

Volunteers test the Parkrun track

The Volunteers in Mahikeng tried out the Parkrun track last Saturday after the track was approved for use by officials. Participants included popular comrades marathon winners and runners, Andrew and Gift Kelehe and several other former comrade runners. An official date will be announced soon for the Parkrun championship which will be preceded by the launched and official opening of the Parkrun Mahikeng by ten times winner of the comrades marathon, the world acclaimed Bruce Fordyc. Excitement in Mahikeng for the much talked about launch  has grown to unlimited heights  during recent weeks and members of the now famous Mahikeng Cleaning Campaign  who have taken over the cleaning campaign of the provincial city are ensuring that the capital city remains clean to welcome guests who are expected to flock in their hundreds to Mahikeng. Mahikeng residents have been requested to keep their areas clean and urged to stop dumping at restricted areas. Strict rules have been put in place and perpetrators found breaking the law will have to face the consequences of their acts.

PSA community commitment by the New Provincial Manager

As part of the PSA community commitment programme, the new Provincial Manager, Dickson Makolomakwe begun with the commitment of ensuring quality learning for the learning of students by donating jerseys, pens, sharpeners and pencil bags which come in handy to the learners at this time of the year.
