Do you have old soft toys stuck away in a cupboard? Tanya Havenga is running a project where she wants to get 1 000 soft toys, clean them and donate them to needy children.
B-Sure 2 make a difference wants to bring joy to children who have very little. Toys can be dropped at B-Sure’s offices at 6 Michael Street or at Klerksdorp Record in Ian Street. “People can drop off till 5 December,” says Tanya.

q You can also help the children who go to Khaya Tshepo who will be home for the December holiday and most will have nothing or very little to eat.
“It has been a tough time for our children to survive lockdown without the two nutritious meals per day that they receive at KT. Yet with the generous support of our donors, friends and supporters, we were able to make deliveries of food to the families. Now with the festive season approaching, we are launching our Festive Food Parcel Project,” says Charleen Diedericks, project manager.
“This year we need to pack 45 parcels which we would like to be filled with staple items such as pap, rice, sugar, pasta, samp and oil. Also tinned food such as beans, vegetables, chakalaka, fish and jam as well as packets of soya, soup and beans and luxuries such as jelly, chips, sweets, biscuits and cooldrinks.”
Volunteers will be packing these goods on 8 and 9 December and they will be delivered to the homes of our children and their families on 10 and 11 December. If making a financial contribution will be an easier option, please call Nomonde or Charleen on 018 462 0172 for the banking details.
