Brooksby food parcels

Last week, Mahikeng Local Municipality Executive Mayor, Tshepiso Mphehlo( pictured left and below) donated food parcels to the community of Brooksby who were affected by the recent floods in the Mahikeng jurisdiction. The food parcels were sponsored by the management of Mahikeng Mall as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility and will continue to lend a helping hand to assist the municipality in dealing with disaster situations and relieving the community from distress.

NWHC hosted the Housing Technology summit

MAHIKENG MAIL-MAHIKENG: The North West Housing Corporation hosted the maiden Alternative Housing Technology summit (AHT) attended by manufacturers, suppliers and quality assurance institutions recently at Hartbeespoort.
The gathering was a prime cross-industry event which focused on the new technology of housing including building designs, energy, innovative materials, construction, and plumbing.

Passenger burned while 14 others survived

MAHIKENG MAIL-MAHIKENG: One passenger burned to death in a taxi collision while 14 others sustained serious injuries after a driver allegedly lost control as a result of tyre burst and hit a tree on the N4.
The taxi that was travelling from Zeerust to Rustenburg caught fire after hitting the tree.

Economic development intervenes on concerns raised by Mmadithokwa community

New Morena Shopping Complex opens

MAFIKENG MAIL -MAHIKENG: The owners of the newly opened shopping complex in Mmabatho have assured the North West provincial government that they were ready and willing to work with Premier Bushy Maape’s provincial administration to rebuild local infrastructure which had been neglected for years following its construction by the former Bophuthatswana regime.
