BONUS - RUSTENBURG - South Africa, represented by Commissioner Edward Kieswetter, was elected unopposed as the new Chair of the African Tax Administration Forum (ATAF) Council for a two-year period during ATAF’s 8th General Assembly convened in Kigali, Rwanda on 4 December. 
This, in support of SARS’ strategic objectives that emphasises the need and importance to work with and through key stakeholders to improve the tax eco-system – domestically, regionally and internationally. The Forum is Africa’s leading continental body tasked with supporting members to build efficient and effective tax administrations, thereby enhancing economic development domestically and, importantly, improving the living standards of the people of Africa.

BONUS - RUSTENBURG - Veronicca Molefe (28) leads a team of youthful professionals who provide sexual and reproductive health services to adolescent girls and young woman with Shout-It-Now. 
She was also recently appointed as the second Deputy Chairperson on the South African National AIDS Council’s (SANAC) Health Professionals Civil Society Forum.
“In these two roles I support, advocate for and develop policies and programmes that address the unique challenges faced by young people in accessing sexual reproductive health (SRH) services in a non-judgmental and relatable environment - particularly preventative services that relate to unwanted pregnancy, HIV and abuse.”

BONUS - RUSTENBURG - Hosts Johannesburg held their nerve to defeat Mangaung 53-52 in a gripping final of the SPAR National Netball Championships hosted by the City of Johannesburg on Saturday to claim a third straight title.
Having lost to the Free State team during the round-robin stage earlier in the week, Johannesburg made sure to avoid the same mistakes at the start of the match. 
While they briefly dropped behind in the opening quarter, the home side ensured they were all square by the first break, which was reached with the score on 14-14.
