NOORDWESTER – POTCHEFSTROOM - The Acting Provincial Commissioner of Police in North West, Major General Patrick Asaneng, handed certificates over to 20 members who were trained as sign language interpreters. This recently took place in Potchefstroom.
Major General Asaneng motivated the recipients and said Human Resource Development is a mutual symbiotic relationship between the employer and employee, from which both parties derive bennefits.

He said: “We are witnessing the benefits of training and development that improve the employees’ knowledge and skills.
“Furthermore, the organisation becomes more productive and efficient, reducing errors and complaints against the police. A deaf person is now able to be assisted by the police.”
