NOORDWESTER - BIESIESVLEI - The South Africn Police Service (SAPS) observed Casual Day on Friday, 6 September. This day is celebrated every year to raise funds and awareness in honouring people with disabilities. Observing this day, SAPS, in partnership with the Community Policing Forum (CPF) accompanied by Community in Blue Patrollers and certain members from Sannieshof SAPS visited an identified male with a disability, George Whelan, to spend time with him.

NOORDWESTER – COLIGNY - Tydens Vrouemaand het Coligny Biblioteek ‘n “eierdop”-projek aangebied.
Elke vrou het twee plantjiebakkies versier met gekleurde droë eierdoppe. Dít alleen was ‘n projek om die eierdoppe verskillende kleure te sprei.

5 - 9 Augustus in onderskeie afdelings aan die wêreld boogskiet kampioenskappe deelgeneem in Iguassa Falls, Brasilië.
In die afdeling AMBU (Adult Male Bowhunter Unlimited) het Botes ‘n goue medalje verwerf en is dus die wêreldkampioen in dié afdeling.
