STELLALANDER-OTTOSHOOP: The Ottoshoop police are appealing to members of the community to assist in locating two men who have been reported missing from Maruping Village near Ottoshoop. 
The missing men are 25-year-old Oratile Calvin Mokgethi and 26-year-old Ketshepamang Sebothe. According to police, they were last seen by family members on Sunday evening, 14 December 2025, when they were allegedly taken from their home by four unknown males. Following the incident, a case of kidnapping was opened at the Ottoshoop police station. A search was conducted in and around the area, but no positive results have been reported so far. At the time of their disappearance, Mokgethi was wearing a blue and white vest, long blue track pants, and pink and white slippers.

He is described as having a slender build, weighing approximately 70kg, about 1.5 metres tall, and having long black hair. Sebothe was wearing black jeans, a yellow reflector jacket, and green Ellesse sneakers. He has a medium build, weighs about 70kg, approximately 1.5 metres tall, and has short black hair. Police are urging anyone who may have information regarding the whereabouts of the two men to come forward. Members of the public are requested to contact the investigating officer, Sergeant Tumelo Molatlhegi, on 082 373 9830. Alternatively, information can be reported to the nearest police station or to Crime Stop on 08600 10111. Anonymous tip-offs may also be submitted via the MySAPS App.
