Die eerste plaasaanval op hom was 4 Januarie 2021 toe vier verdagtes op hom geskiet het. Hy het terug geskiet en hy was gelukkig nie getref nie. Die aanvallers het van die toneel gevlug.
Daarna is doodsdreigemente op karton geskryf en aan grensdrade en hekke aangebring vir hom, sy buurman en plaaswerker om te sê dat hulle doodgemaak sal word.
OPERATION SHANELA - - 979 suspects arrested
BRITS POS – BRITS - In an endeavour to keep the North West Province safe during the Safer Festive Season and beyond, the South African Police Service (SAPS) members in conjunction with other law enforcement agencies, arrested 979 suspects between Monday, 1 and Sunday, 07 January 2024.
“The suspects were arrested for crimes such as rape, assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm and common, murder, robbery aggravating, burglary residential and business, drug related offences, illegal dealing in liquor, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and unlawful possession of firearms, among others.

Arrest of five suspects for attempted murder of police officer
BRITS POS – JERICHO - The Provincial Commissioner of North West, Lieutenant General Sello Kwena applauded the police and other role players for collaborative efforts that led to the arrest of five suspects in connection with the attempted murder of a police officer on Monday evening, 8 January 2024.
According to reports, the first suspect was handed over to the police by a member of the community while the other was arrested by Jericho police on Tuesday, 9 January 2024.
Magalies Water relentless to reverse negative impact of pollution on Harties
BRITS POS – BRITS - Magalies Water has been appointed by the Department of Water and Sanitation (DWS) to act as an implementing Agent (IA) for the remediation of Hartbeespoort Dam and upper catchment of the Crocodile West.
The main quest is to improve the water quality for all the water users. The plan is explicitly tailored to address specific needs of the dam and its feeding tributaries. The nine pillared turn-around strategy was crafted to focus on the management of water resources from the upstream of the dam for the benefit of everyone.
