The school competed against six primary schools from various provincial districts. The mentor teacher, Nomvo Raqa, commended the learners for their collective efforts in achieving this victory. The MEC for Education, Viola Motsumi congratulated the winners.

Lentswe, Potchefstroom - Klerksdorp Primary School entered the most science projects at the Eskom Expo regional science fair.

A total of 84 budding young scientists from the region presented 61 research projects at the event, which took place on Friday August 2. The projects on display were evaluated by 32 judges, which included educators, specialists, academics, and dedicated Eskom Expo supporters.
