MAHIKENG MAIL- MAHIKENG: The traditional initiation school leader, Hans Pelele from Lotlhakane Village successfully inducted 83 young initiates who returned home during their initiation school ceremony at Dithakong East during the December season. 

Pelele said 2023 was a blessing to have welcomed another group of initiates back home safe and health after having spent the whole od December at initiation school.  “In June, I inducted 73 initiates and now we have received 83.  This is a true sign of good work and partnership between us and parent who entrusted us with their children.
“Like I always say, I have no record of losing any child. We are normally accused of many things but parent and the community must rest assure that our duty is teach and prepare these young man for adulthood and advise them to behave accordingly anything other might come  from social influence which we also advice the parents to play an active role of guiding this young man as grow,” said Pelele.
