Dithakong’s very own young pageant contender, Kopo Letlonkane, is thrilled and exicted to be a semi-finalist for Face of North West. At as young as 14, the young model from Dithalong Village is passionate about empowering young girls, women and boys as she wishes to transform the way people live, by redefining how people get access to basic needs such as adequate shelter, nutritious food and clean water.
“I believe in creating a society where empowerment is a right, not a privilege, enabling individuals to thrive through education, opportunity, and support. By reimagining these foundations, we can build a more equitable, compassionate, and sustainable future for all. I am a new model, excited to start my journey in the fashion world. I want to use my platform to help and empower others, especially young girls and women in my community. I believe in self-love, self-acceptance, and confidence, which is why I entered this pageant - which can make me change many lives,” said Kopo.
