MAHIKENG MAIL - MMABATHO: The Department of Arts, Culture, Sports and Recreation (ACSR), through its Sub-Directorate: Arts, Culture and Heritage (ACH), hosted the International African Traditional Medicine Day over the weekend at Mmabatho Stadium.
They raised awareness on the importance and relevance of African medicine, while showcasing the rich cultural practices that continue to support nation-building.

MAHIKENG MAIL - MAHIKENG: The continued infighting among ANC members in municipalities in the North West has become a worrisome development across the province. 
The ongoing fighting has spilled over to Ramotshere Moiloa Municipality where councillors reported that a security staff member was shot and injured, leading to employees not reporting for duty as they feared for their lives - this after a similar situation occurred in Ditsobotla Local Municipality earlier this year.

MAHIKENG MAIL - MAHIKENG: Seventy learners at Dingateng Primary School in Dingateng Village received school uniforms from the authorities to advance their studies last week Wednesday. 
The donation was handed over by the North West Social Development MEC, Basetsana Sussana Dantjie, in collaboration with the South African Social Security Agency (SASSA). 

MAHIKENG MAIL - MAHIKENG: North West Public Works and Roads MEC, Sempe Elizabeth Mokua, reiterated her Department’s commitment to ensure that women, youth and people with disabilities become the main beneficiaries of the new intake in the Vukuphile Contractor Development Programme in the current Financial Year (2025/26).
