STELLALANDER-GANYESA: The Acting Provincial Police Commissioner of the North West, Major General (Dr) Ryno Naidoo, has expressed deep sadness following the murder of Constable Boikanyo Molale, whose lifeless body was discovered at around 05:30 on Saturday, 25 October 2025, in Thokoza Section, Ganyesa, near Vryburg.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the 30-year-old officer, who was attached to Ganyesa Visible Policing, was assaulted by an unknown number of suspects.

Molale was declared dead at the scene. Police have since arrested two suspects, aged 22 and 27, in connection with the killing. The pair are expected to appear in court soon, while investigations continue to trace the remaining suspects. The motive for the attack remains unclear at this stage.
Major General Naidoo has instructed the investigation team to intensify efforts to bring all those involved to justice. “The brutal killing of a police officer is an attack on the entire law enforcement community,” said Naidoo. “We will not rest until every person responsible for this senseless act is arrested and faces the full might of the law.” He also extended heartfelt condolences to Constable Molale’s family, colleagues, and loved ones, assuring them of the police’s unwavering commitment to securing justice.
