BRITS POS – BRITS - As part of ongoing investigation into an inquest docket, the police in Brits request relatives to come forward and identify the deceased.
“On Wednesday evening, 11 November 2025, the police found the body of an unknown African male hanging from an air-conditioner stand in the parking lot inside the premises of Brits police station,” says Maria Nkabinde, SAPS Brits spokesperson.
“The man was certified dead at the scene. The deceased, who is believed to be in his 20’s, wore a black T-shirt, black trousers, a brown formal shoe on the left foot and a black boot on the right foot. In addition, he is tall in height with a bald head.”
