“BRITS POS – MABOLOKA - A man who runs a food stall at Maboloka taxi rank, Letlhabile with his mother, was busy packing up just before closing time on Wednesday, 21 February around 20:30 when three male customers entered under the pretext to buy food, but suddenly one of the men followed him into the kitchen, pointed a firearm at him and demanded money.

The victim fought back and then one of the other suspects grabbed a spade and assaulted his mother with force. The male victim was also assaulted and sustained injuries to his head.
The suspects fled the scene without robbing anything, but both victims sustained serious injuries. Cases of assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm and attempted business robbery were registered at Letlhabile police station. “The suspects fled the scene and they are still at large,” confirmed SAPS Brits spokesperson, Maria Nkabinde.
“Anyone with information that might lead to the apprehension of the suspects can contact the Investigating Officer, Detective Sergeant Joseph Tlhapi of Letlhabile Detectives on 082 416 0670.”
