BRITS POS – MARIKANA - Marikana Visible Policing and Detectives responded to a business robbery in progress complaint at a wholesale store in the area in the early hours last week on Monday.
The 30-year-old Bheki Mnguni and henchmen fled the scene when police arrived, but Mnguni was arrested.

“He was found in possession of a firearm with ammunition and a Ford Figo vehicle, allegedly used during the commission of the crime. Police also recovered cellular phones, belonging to the staff members, liquor and cigarettes,” says Col Adéle Myburgh, SAPS Northwest spokesperson.
“The accused appeared before the Brits Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 29 November and was remanded in custody until his second court appearance today, Thursday, 7 December 2023. Investigations into the matter continue.”
