BONUS – RUSTENBURG - October became a month full of blessings to the community specifically Moses Kotane hospital patients, where they received the first batch of spinach from the hospital garden on 13 October, with the help of partnership between the key role departments, Moses Kotane Local Municipality and Bojanala Executive Mayor’s Office.
Twenty family members/patients were identified to be the first to reap the rewards of the hospital garden, which is assisting to strengthen the social support to those in need.

One of the community members expressed their gratitude towards the benefits of the garden and emphasized their gratefulness for the initiative that the partnered stakeholders took.
The Hospital garden was established by Moses Kotane Hospital management and became functional on 18 July 2023, with the partnership of Rustenburg Community Correctional Services, Department of Agriculture, Moses Kotane Local Municipality Mayor Cllr Ketu Nkotswe and the support from Bojanala District Executive Mayor Cllr Matlakala Nondzaba.
