Lentswe, Kanana - Phodiso Worship Centre, led by Apostle TD Mofokeng, held their yearly Appreciation Ceremony to acknowledge and celebrate his commitment and service.
The gathering on December 7 was incredibly impactful, filled with praise, prayer, and scripture.
This important event allowed the congregation to show their appreciation and acknowledgment for his unwavering dedication in leading the community, offering spiritual assistance, and fostering the faith of the members. Apostle TD Mofokeng received numerous presents and heartfelt messages from his congregation and every group within the church.
The service proceeded with the ordination of Rev Motlhokoa and Rev Okeyere. It was a very lucky but emotional day, as the Pastors faced a crucial and vital decision about whether to keep serving God. Apostle Mofokeng offered words of support to the newly ordained pastors, emphasizing that the journey ahead will be difficult, but they must remain resilient and trust that God is always with them. In tough times, people must stay strong and trust in the Lord, for better days are on the horizon.
The relatives of the reverends also expressed their feelings and emotions to their beloved ones. On this significant day, Rev Mabandla Lomo from the New Ethiopian Church joined for this appreciation and to convey the Word of God. He inspired the congregation with a compelling sermon, stressing that “It was solely grace” that carried us from the start of the year to its conclusion. The Church, together with the Apostle, is sincerely thankful for the support received from all the guests arriving from various provinces just to come and fellowship with them.
