Lentswe, Klerksdorp - The inaugural NW Funeral and Cemeteries Conference 2025 with the theme Challenges facing the Modern day Funeral and Cemeteries sector in South-Africa will be hosted in Klerksdorp.
The event will be held on November 25-26 with the purpose to bring industry leaders, funeral parlours and stakeholders together under one roof and have robust dialogue about the challenges and shortcomings the industry is facing.
The conference promises to be a hub of stimulating discussions, knowledge sharing, and fruitful collaborations. According to the organisers, it will be a good opportunity to share ideas, make valuable inputs, get business exposure, network with industry experts, researchers and professionals.
Guest speakers include Prof Matthys Dippenaar from the University of Pretoria, Prophetess Sweetness Khomba National Chairperson of African Woman in the Funeral Industry (AWITFI), Dr Joseph Ndou from Institute of Environmental and Research Management (IERM), Bongi Sikhampula, Acting Assistant Director Parks and Cemeteries City of Matlosana Municipality and Johan Roussou from Funeral Industry Reformed Association (FIRA).
