Lentswe, Khuma - The Tholoana Foundation hosted an event in collaboration with the SASBO union on September 30. This event marked a heartwarming occasion where SASBO generously donated essential groceries to an already-established soup kitchen.  Kgotso Madi, executive member of SASBO, expressed the union’s unique approach and commitment to community engagement.
He highlighted that while many unions primarily advocate for salary increases, SASBO sets itself apart by dedicating a portion of its resources each year to extend a helping hand to various organizations.

This support is channeled through individual branches, each of which identifies and funds different community organizations.

Charles Balibi, one of the beneficiaries of the Tholoana Foundation, shared heartfelt sentiments during the event.

He expressed profound gratitude, emphasizing the transformative role the foundation and its dedicated leader, Mama Julia, played in his life.
