Lentswe, Klerksdorp - Kakatlela Primary School, through the School Based Support Team held Tuberculosis awareness on March 20. The aim of this day was to create awareness among people about the global epidemic of tuberculosis and efforts to eliminate the disease.

Empilisweni Clinic was present to educate the learners about the symptoms, treatment, and prevention of TB. Learner Support Agent Mosela also stressed the importance of early diagnosis and treatment of TB.

The school thanked the Department of Health officials for their continued provision of health-related education and support to the school.
