Lentswe, Klerksdorp - Kakatlela Primary School held a Suicide and Teenage Pregnancy Awareness event on February 28.
The purpose was to educate the grade 6 and 7 learners about the effects and dangers of early pregnancy. Furthermore, the educators shared information about where learners can access help when suicidal or knowing someone with suicidal thoughts.

The SBST member, Mr Mekgwe emphasised to the learners that there is help available and that their actions, no matter how big or small, can provide hope to those who are struggling.

Through their actions, they can also let people experience suicidal thoughts and know that there is hope and that they have support.
