On Saturday March 23, the office of the Executive Mayor, led by Cllr James Tsolela, hosted interdenominational churches at the Recreation Centre. They prayed for the people of Matlosana to be safe with their loved ones during upcoming Easter holidays.

The churches also prayed for safety on the roads during the holidays as many residents will be embarking on their different journeys across the province and the country.

As the nation is steadily approaching the pivotal event of the 2024 general elections, the ministries also prayed for the smooth running of the elections in order to have leaders who are committed to the common good, who embody integrity, compassion, dedication to serving the people with honesty and humility.
